[Featured Stock] MDS Tech Highlights as GM-NVIDIA Develop Next-Gen Autonomous Driving Partnership... Partner Spotlight Up

MDS Tech is showing strong performance. This is interpreted as being influenced by the news that General Motors (GM) is partnering with Nvidia to develop next-generation autonomous vehicles.

As of 1:54 PM on the 19th, MDS Tech is trading at 1,260 KRW, up 4.22% compared to the previous day.

According to industry sources, GM plans to collaborate with Nvidia to develop AI-based next-generation cars, factories, and robots. After ending its autonomous taxi service 'Cruise' last year, GM announced plans to utilize Nvidia's AI chips to continue developing autonomous driving technology.

Nvidia already supplies chips supporting advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving to numerous global automakers, and GM intends to promote new car development and production optimization through this collaboration.

Autonomous vehicles require powerful chips to process data from cameras, radars, and sensors in real time. To this end, GM plans to adopt Nvidia's 'Drive AGX' system on chip (SoC) and Drive OS for in-vehicle interfaces.

Meanwhile, MDS Tech, as an official AI solution supply partner of Nvidia, is known to provide domestic supply and technical support for the latest AI server product line 'Blackwell' starting this year. Additionally, MDS Tech has demonstrated outstanding competitiveness in autonomous driving electronic control unit (ECU) verification and V2X solution sectors, achieving approximately 150 billion KRW in orders last year. Real-time software error analysis tools (TRACE32) and ECU test automation software (Mx-Suite) have been validated by global OEM customers such as Hyundai Motor and GM, playing a key role in sales growth.
