Joint Efforts with Seoul Metropolitan Air Quality Management Office, Pyeongtaek Regional Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Office, and Gyeonggi Province
On the 19th, Pyeongtaek City in Gyeonggi Province announced that it conducted a joint response to reduce fine dust at Pyeongtaek Port together with the Seoul Metropolitan Air Quality Management Office, Pyeongtaek Regional Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Office, and Gyeonggi Province.

The joint response team, along with the three organizations and the West Pyeongtaek Environmental Committee, encouraged citizens and freight truck drivers to participate in the seasonal management system and carried out promotional activities for daily practice guidelines to reduce fine dust at the parking lot of Gate 4, East Dock, Pyeongtaek Port.
The joint response team also measured port pollution levels at the nearby East Dock, identified areas with high concentrations of fine dust, and jointly inspected construction sites generating scattered dust with the city. During this activity, inspections were also conducted on air emission businesses within the Poseung Industrial Complex.
A city official stated, "We will continue to create a pleasant urban environment where citizens can live with peace of mind through close cooperation with each organization."
