Pohang Homibando Coastal Trail Walking Certification Event Surpasses 1,000 Participants

Visitors Flock to Tourist Attractions Such as Yeonorangsaeonyeo Theme Park and Homigot Square

Pohang City announced that the "Homibando Coastal Trail Walking Certification Event," which began on March 1 in celebration of Travel Month, has been receiving a positive response.

The Homibando Coastal Trail Walking Certification Event is held throughout March, where participants walk the entire 24.7 km coastal trail from Cheongnim Sports Ground to Homigot Square. Those who collect all the stamps for each course receive souvenirs and medals.

Participants can join the event either online through the Stamp Tour app or offline by collecting paper stamps prepared at each certification point.

Within just two weeks of the event's start, the number of participants surpassed 1,000, and with the arrival of the prime spring outing season, the city expects even more tourists from across the country to visit.

The city believes that this event is having a positive impact on revitalizing the local economy and tourism. In particular, the number of visitors to the Yeonorangsaeonyeo Theme Park, known as the filming location of the recently popular drama "My Perfect Secretary," has significantly increased, and it is expected to further invigorate local tourist attractions in the future.
