Annual Support of 50,000 KRW Provided Through the Hometown Love Donation Fund
Buan County in North Jeolla Province will implement the "Elderly Bathing Fee Support Project" using Hometown Love Donation funds starting this year.
According to the county on the 19th, this project is designed to support the health and hygiene of seniors aged 75 and older living in towns and villages without small public bathhouses by providing an annual subsidy of 50,000 KRW through the Hometown Love Donation fund.
Seniors can use the Buan Love Gift Certificate card at partnered bathhouses.
The county also introduced other major projects to be promoted through the Hometown Love Donation program in 2025, including the "Protect the Wild Bee Bungbungi" ESG environmental project, which aims to lead environmental protection efforts and contribute to maintaining the Earth's temperature at 1°C.
For young people, the "Youth Housing Support Project" provides assistance for stable housing, encouraging the influx of young residents to Buan.
The county plans to continuously discover various fund projects to improve the quality of life for Buan residents and revitalize the local economy, while expanding a range of welfare and environmental protection activities through the Hometown Love Donation fund.
A county official stated, "The Hometown Love Donation program is an important system that can have a positive impact on the lives of local residents," and added, "If more people participate in the Hometown Love Donation, we expect to create a brighter and healthier future for the county through more projects."
