For Children and Adolescents with Developmental Disabilities
Applications Available on the Museum Website
The National Hangeul Museum of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced on the 19th that it will operate a Hangeul culture experience education program for special classes of elementary, middle, and high school students in Seoul and the metropolitan area for the first time this year.
This education program was developed to suit the characteristics of children and adolescents with developmental disabilities (neurodiversity). It is designed to be experienced in a familiar school environment without the need to visit the museum.

The education program consists of two types. "Sejong's Friend, Hangeul Keeper," aimed at elementary school students, explores artifacts reflecting King Sejong's heart for the people and engages in play and creative activities related to the shapes of Hangeul. For middle and high school students, "Sejong, Fulfilling Dreams" offers experiences such as decorating a Hunminjeongeum lantern and activities with artifact picture cards.
