Paju-si, Second-Generation Business Leaders and Local Economy Revitalization... Heated Discussion

The mobile mayor's office is a place where the mayor directly communicates with citizens, listens to opinions from all walks of life, solves problems on-site, and has received great responses from citizens.

This mobile mayor's office was held in collaboration with the Paju Future Management Forum, an association of second-generation business managers in Paju, marking the 149th session. Simply put, this means the mayor has met directly with more than five citizens every day without a break.

At this mobile mayor's office, Mayor Kim Kyung-il of Paju City, the head of the Paju Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and 40 members of the Paju Future Management Forum attended and engaged in a heated discussion on ways to revitalize the local economy and recover the livelihood economy.

Members of the Paju Future Management Forum proposed various suggestions, including ▲operating a certification system for excellent companies in Paju City ▲promoting the priority purchase of goods from local companies ▲improving corporate support policies. Heads of relevant departments in Paju City also attended and provided immediate responses on-site to the suggestions, promising active review for issues that are difficult to resolve in the short term.

Mayor Kim Kyung-il of Paju City said, “We will promote customized livelihood policies that companies can feel,” and added, “We will do our best to create a city that grows together with companies and a city where people want to do business.”
