SK Hynix unveiled the 6th generation HBM (HBM4) and the AI server-specialized memory 'SOCAMM.' Nvidia's next-generation memory module SOCAMM is generally a technology that combines System on Chip (SoC) and Advanced Memory Module.
SOCAMM is a low-power DRAM-based AI server-specialized memory that Nvidia is attempting to standardize, and with SK Hynix being the first to unveil it, there are expectations that it will continue to lead the AI memory market.
