Stealion, Accused of Stealing Alien Technology, Selected by UK FT as 'High-Growth Company in Asia-Pacific'

500 High-Growth Companies in 13 Asia-Pacific Countries

Cybersecurity company Stealien announced on the 19th that it has been selected as one of the '2025 Asia-Pacific High-Growth Companies' published by the British daily Financial Times (FT). This is the third time Stealien has made it onto this list.

The Asia-Pacific High-Growth Companies list selects the top 500 companies with the highest revenue growth rates among businesses in 13 countries in the region. To be included, companies must have recorded revenues of over $100,000 in 2020 and over $1 million in 2023. FT collaborates with the global market research firm Statista to publish this list annually.

Stealien is strengthening its presence in the Asia-Pacific region based on its Indonesian corporation and Japanese branch. Using proprietary security technology developed at its Korean headquarters, it has secured numerous projects targeting Southeast Asian countries. Major projects include the 'ASEAN Cyber Shield,' funded by the Korea-ASEAN Cooperation Fund, and the 'Indonesia Cybersecurity Workforce Development Project,' an Official Development Assistance (ODA) initiative by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). Through these efforts, Stealien exports security technology and supports the training of local cybersecurity professionals.

Park Chan-am, CEO of Stealien, said, "We are pleased to be selected again this year as an Asia-Pacific High-Growth Company by FT. We will continue to strive through steady research and development (R&D) to ensure our technology contributes to global safety."

Stealien is a combination of the English words 'Steal' and 'Alien.' Founded by CEO Park in February 2015 while he was still studying, it is a cybersecurity specialist company. It focuses on businesses such as security consulting and cyber hacking training systems. The company employs about 100 staff members, all composed of top-tier white-hat hackers globally, and its annual revenue recently surpassed 10 billion KRW.
