Yoo Jungjoon, Vice Chairman of SK On, Received 18.3 Billion KRW Last Year
Choi Tae-won, chairman of SK Group, received a total of 3.5 billion KRW in compensation from SK Inc. last year.
The highest salary at SK Inc. last year was received by Yoo Jung-joon, vice chairman of SK On, who earned approximately 18.3 billion KRW.
According to the 2024 business report disclosed by SK Inc. on the 18th, Chairman Choi received 3.5 billion KRW in salary alone. He also receives compensation from SK Hynix.
At SK Inc., Vice Chairman Yoo, who was in charge of external cooperation in the Americas, moved to SK On last year and received a total of 18.31 billion KRW, including retirement pay of 16.605 billion KRW, salary of 883 million KRW, and bonus of 818 million KRW.
SK Inc. explained, "The retirement pay reflects the sum of the monthly base salary (166 million KRW), the length of service (26 years), and the retirement pay rate (250% to 550%), which corresponds to 311 months."
Among retired executives, former chairman of the SK Supex Council, Cho Dae-sik, received a total of 16.624 billion KRW, including retirement pay of 12.642 billion KRW, salary of 2.4 billion KRW, and bonus of 1.582 billion KRW.
Meanwhile, the number of executives at SK Inc. last year was 89, a decrease of 11 from 100 in 2023 within one year.
