Gu Kwang-mo Received 8.2 Billion KRW in Annual Salary Last Year
LG Group Chairman's Pay Slightly Down from Previous Year
Gu Kwang-mo, Chairman of LG Group, received an annual salary of approximately 8.2 billion KRW last year.
According to the '2024 Business Report' disclosed on the 18th by LG Corporation, the holding company of LG Group, Chairman Gu, who serves as CEO of LG Corporation, received a total of 8.177 billion KRW last year, including a salary of 4.676 billion KRW and a bonus of 3.51 billion KRW.
This represents a 1.82% decrease compared to 2023 (8.329 billion KRW).
LG explained, "Considering the business environment where external uncertainties are increasing due to market contraction caused by the slowdown in global economic growth, rising geopolitical risks in advanced technology sectors, and the restructuring of global supply chains, we took into account the performance and contributions to business structure advancement and enhancement of business competitiveness aimed at discovering future growth engines from a long-term perspective."
Vice Chairman and CEO Kwon Bong-seok received a total of 3.223 billion KRW, including a salary of 1.843 billion KRW and a bonus of 1.38 billion KRW, while President Ha Beom-jong received a total of 1.321 billion KRW, including a salary of 937 million KRW.
