Comprehensive Cooperation in Investment Attraction, Consulting, and More

Gyeongbuk Technopark has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Korea Invention Promotion Association to support the growth of outstanding technology companies in Gyeongbuk Province.

This agreement was established to identify the needs related to technology commercialization and IPOs for companies in Gyeongbuk, to build an organic cooperation system between the two organizations, and to discover companies with excellent technological capabilities and marketability in order to promote their technology commercialization.


Gyeongbuk TP will comprehensively cooperate in areas such as technology commercialization, starting with linking the Growth Ladder Support Project, to create an ecosystem for company growth centered on technological innovation.


The areas of cooperation include: ▲support for discovering companies with excellent technology and marketability ▲support for technology commercialization to foster outstanding companies ▲technology transaction support ▲consulting for employee invention certification ▲intellectual property management certification and education ▲support for recovery of IP-backed collateral and promotion of transactions for IP held by support organizations.


A representative from Gyeongbuk TP stated, "Gyeongbuk TP will do its utmost to promote technological innovation and growth of local SMEs through collaboration with the Korea Invention Promotion Association, which plays a central role in establishing the national IP ecosystem."
