Providing Customized Housing Welfare Information and Counseling
for Vulnerable Groups
Goyang Special City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Dong-hwan) announced on the 18th that it will operate the "Visiting Housing Welfare Mobile Counseling Center" every month starting from the 19th to assist citizens facing housing difficulties.
The Housing Welfare Mobile Counseling Center provides housing welfare information and consultations on-site according to regional demand and schedules, and supports customized services tailored to the diverse needs of citizens by linking housing upgrade services.
The mobile counseling center involves multiple organizations including the Goyang City Housing Welfare Center, Administrative Welfare Centers, Korea Real Estate Board Goyang Branch, and LH (Korea Land & Housing Corporation) Goyang Housing Welfare Branch to conduct consultations in various fields.
On the 19th, the center will be held at the plaza in front of Baekseok 2-dong Administrative Welfare Center (72 Jangbaek-ro, Ilsandong-gu), and on the 20th, at Gangseon Park in Juyeop 1-dong. On April 25th, it will be held at Joongbu University in Goyang-dong, focusing on consultations to resolve housing concerns for youth.
The consultation topics cover overall housing welfare, including provision of housing welfare information, public rental housing move-in, housing support for vulnerable groups, and legal consultations related to lease contracts.
A Goyang Special City official stated, “We will support citizens to more easily access housing welfare information and strive to contribute to housing stabilization and the resolution of housing issues through continuous housing welfare services.”
