In the match against FC Mokpo, Yeoju FC employed a 3-4-3 formation, positioning the fast and sharp left-footed forward Yang Chang-hoon (91·FW) as the main striker. After conceding an early goal due to a defender's mistake in the 8th minute of the first half, Yeoju FC shifted momentum, and in the 35th minute, left-footed defender Lee Hyun-wang (26·DF) scored a remarkable 60-meter long-range shot that found the back of FC Mokpo’s net, leveling the score at 1-1 by halftime.

Entering the second half, Yeoju FC substituted in the speedy forward Kim Joo-hyung (11·FW) at the 63rd minute and relentlessly pressed FC Mokpo’s goal with aggressive attacks. Then, in the 70th minute, Yeoju FC’s first goal scorer of the K3 League season, Jang Yoo-min (71·FW), passed a ball to the charging midfielder Yoon Bo-ram (13·MF), who easily converted it into a goal, turning the score to 2-1 and bringing the goddess of victory to their side.

Seizing the momentum, as regular time ended and 4 minutes of stoppage time were added, coach Shim Bong-seop implemented a strategy by substituting two players. Just before the match ended, substitutes Kim Joo-hyung (11·FW) and Jo Sung-woo (27·MF) combined to score the decisive goal, securing a 3-1 win.
