Saenggak-ui Chang Hosts Its First Lecture of the Year
Park Yong-man, Chairman of the Foundation 'Walking Together' (former Chairman of Doosan Group and the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry), will give a special lecture on the 20th from 5 PM to 7 PM at Sogang University Ignatius Chapel. The topic is 'Pilgrimage of Hope, Walking Together.'
The lecture will begin with the screening of the documentary 'The Miracle of Maelin,' which Chairman Park personally participated in producing. The Miracle of Maelin is a documentary based on the true story of a 3-year-old girl named Maelin who fell into a brain-dead state in France in 2012 and miraculously recovered through the prayers of her family and those around her.
From 6 PM, Chairman Park's lecture and a discussion will follow. Having served as the chairman of Doosan Group, Chairman Park has devoted himself to social contribution and volunteer activities after stepping down from the front lines of management.
This special lecture is the third event hosted by the Mentoring Center Saenggak-ui Chang, established at Sogang University (Director Park Young-sun, former Minister of SMEs and Startups). Under the slogan 'The Future Given by Experience,' experts share their accumulated experiences with young people and help them achieve their dreams, which is the purpose of the center's establishment.
