Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Busanjin District Office Sign Collaboration Agreement for Recruitment and Job Matching
Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Chairman Yang Jaesaeng) will co-host the ‘2025 1st Recruitment and Job Matching Day’ with Busanjin District Office at 2 p.m. on the 27th at the Chamber Hall and International Conference Hall of the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
This event aims to maximize the synergy effect of job creation by integrating the job fairs that both organizations have previously held separately, in order to stabilize the employment market in the Busan area by resolving job mismatches.
A total of 63 local companies, including 18 manufacturing and service companies such as Sunbo Industries, Seobeon, Dongyang Metal Industries, and Masangsoft, will participate in the event. On-site recruitment interviews will be conducted through pre-matching, which is expected to lead to tangible hiring outcomes.
Main programs include a recruitment center, employment consulting, and various on-site events such as personal color analysis, resume photo shoots, and interview hair and makeup services.
In addition, prior to the on-site interview event, the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Busanjin District Office will sign a business agreement to strengthen job linkage. Based on this, the two organizations plan to regularize the event by jointly hosting the ‘2nd Busanjin District?Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Job Fair’ in September.
A representative from the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry stated, “Starting with this year’s first event, we plan to regularly hold the Recruitment and Job Matching Day every two months to more actively support local companies facing manpower shortages,” and added, “The Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry will work closely with Busanjin District Office and related organizations to actively present a new model for resolving regional job mismatches.”
Since 2022, the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry has held a total of 13 Job Matching Day events over three years, resulting in 518 on-site interviews and the successful recruitment of 53 individuals in various positions such as production, electricity, administration, and web development at local companies.
