He continued, "Mickey has honorably served on the Fed Board since 2018 and possesses outstanding expertise in inflation, regulation, and banking operations," and expressed confidence that "we can achieve an unprecedented economic peak in our nation's history."

Vice Chair Bowman was appointed during the first term of the Trump administration and is regarded within the Fed as a hawk (favoring monetary tightening) and an advocate for financial deregulation. She has been a leading candidate to succeed Michael Barr, the outgoing Vice Chair.

President Trump also nominated Brian Bedford, CEO of Republic Airways, as Administrator of the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

On Truth Social, President Trump introduced CEO Bedford as having over 30 years of experience in aviation and management. He stated, "Brian will work with Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy to strongly reform the FAA, protect exports, and ensure the safety of the annual movement of one billion passengers."
