Yeongju City Recruiting First Group of Native Speaker Online Video English Class Students

Applications Open to All Elementary, Middle, and High School Students
From the 21st to the 28th

Yeongju City, Gyeongbuk Province will be recruiting students for the 1st term of its Cyber Video English program for local elementary, middle, and high school students from the 21st to the 28th.


The Cyber Video English program is a project supported by Yeongju City to help students overcome their fear of English and grow into global talents through real-time video English classes with native speakers.


Enrollment will be open from 2:00 PM on the 21st until midnight on March 28th. The program will accept 100 students for 1:2 classes and 200 students for 1:3 classes on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications can be submitted after registering as a member and completing a level test on the Yeongju City Video English website. The course will run from April 2nd to May 6th.


Classes are conducted in real time with native-speaking instructors using a personal PC or mobile device. Students can choose between two options: ▲ 45-minute classes twice a week (Tuesday and Thursday) or ▲ 30-minute classes three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday). The tuition fee is fully covered by Yeongju City, but students are responsible for the cost of textbooks.


The Yeongju City Native Speaker Cyber Video English program operates in a total of five terms per year. ▲ The 2nd term runs from May 7th to July 3rd ▲ the 3rd term from July 4th to August 29th ▲ the 4th term from September 1st to October 29th ▲ and the 5th term from October 30th to December 24th. Enrollment for each term opens in the middle of the month prior to the start of the course. Detailed schedules will be announced on the Yeongju City Video English website.
