Hyundai Motor Group Sweeps 26 Awards at 'iF Design Award'... "Proving Competitiveness"

26 Main Awards in Product, Communication, and UI Categories
"Innovative Design Delivers New Experiences and Value"

Hyundai Motor Group announced on the 18th that it swept a total of 26 awards at the '2025 iF Design Award' hosted by the German International Forum Design.

The iF Design Award, one of the world's top three design awards, has been selecting the best designs in each category every year since 1954 by evaluating the design distinctiveness and impact of projects that have been launched or are scheduled to be launched in the market.


This year, Hyundai Motor Group received 26 main awards in categories including product, professional concept, communication, interior architecture, user interface (UI), user experience (UX), and service design.


In the product category for automobiles, Hyundai's Ioniq 9, The All-New Palisade, Inisium Concept, Kia EV3, and Genesis X Gran Berlinetta Concept won main awards. In addition, hydrogen-based personalized mobility DICE, smart taxi indicator, global EV home charger, E-Pit rapid charger, and vehicle multi-hanger set also received main awards in the product category.


In the professional concept category, which targets futuristic concepts and advanced designs, the Genesis Neorun Concept and hydrogen-based autonomous mobility concept SPACE won main awards.


Hyundai Motor Group's excellent robotics technology design capabilities also led to awards. In the product category for industry, the wearable robot 'XVEL Shoulder' received a main award, and in the service design category, the 'Electric Vehicle Automatic Charging Robot (ACR) Service' was also honored with an award.

In the communication category, which constitutes customer touchpoints, Hyundai's FIFA Women's World Cup campaign, The All-New Santa Fe launch book, and 'AD Creator' for car dealers received main awards, proving excellent brand marketing communication capabilities.


Kia achieved the feat of winning main awards in both the communication and interior architecture categories with the exhibition video and booth showcased at CES 2024, the world's largest electronics and IT exhibition. Hyundai also received a main award in the interior architecture category for its CES exhibition booth design from last year.


Genesis's 'Genesis Magma Pavilion' exhibition zone showcased at last year's Goodwood Festival in the UK and the new office 'Genesis Work Space' set up at Hyundai Motor's Gangnam headquarters were also named among the winners in the interior architecture category.


Additionally, Hyundai's 'Ioniq Lab' operating in Bangkok, Thailand, to present the advanced technology and lifestyle of the Ioniq brand was recognized for excellent design in the interior architecture and UX categories. In the UI category, the digital integrated application 'Kia App' won a main award.
