Three-Vehicle Collision on Cheonan-Nonsan Expressway Leaves Two Dead or Injured

Two casualties occurred when three vehicles collided on the Cheonan-Nonsan Expressway.

According to police and fire authorities on the 18th, at around 11:28 p.m. the previous day, a 4.5-ton truck collided with a 24-ton truck ahead of it at the Seononsan Interchange in the direction of Cheonan, after which an SUV rear-ended the 4.5-ton truck.

As a result of the accident, the 4.5-ton truck driver, identified as Mr. A, was transported to the hospital in cardiac arrest but died, while the SUV driver sustained minor injuries.

The police and fire authorities are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
