In the women's golf weekly world rankings announced on the 17th (local time), she earned 1.07 points and jumped an impressive 52 spots from 146th last week to 94th. She accumulated points by winning the KLPGA Tour season opener, the Blue Canyon Ladies Championship (total prize money $800,000), held at Blue Canyon Country Club (par 72) in Phuket, Thailand, which concluded on the 16th. This is her third career victory following the 1991 Kyochon Ladies Open in May 2023 and the SangSangin·Hankyung WowNet Open in October 2024.


Nelly Korda (USA) firmly maintained her No. 1 position. Lydia Ko (New Zealand) pushed Gino Titi Kun (Thailand) down to 3rd place and rose to 2nd. In Luning (China) is 4th, Hannah Green (Australia) 5th, Lilia Vu (USA) 6th, and Ayaka Furue (Japan) is in 7th place. For Korea, Ko Jin-young is 8th, Yoo Hae-ran 9th, Yang Hee-young 13th, Shin Ji-ae 24th, Yoon In-na 26th, Lim Jin-hee 28th, and Kim Hyo-joo 29th.
