SSG.com announced on the 18th that it will revamp its delivery brands. The delivery service previously referred to as SSG Delivery will be renamed 'SSG Weekly Delivery,' and the existing dawn delivery will be renamed 'SSG Dawn Delivery.' The Traders delivery service will be unified under the name 'SSG Traders Delivery.' The aim is to enhance convenience by allowing customers to intuitively understand the expected arrival time.
SSG.com is rebranding 'SSG Delivery' as an integrated brand encompassing all shopping delivery services on SSG.com. Accordingly, the delivery service previously known as same-day delivery will be renamed 'SSG Weekly Delivery.' It will be displayed as Weekly Delivery on the mobile app. SSG Weekly Delivery is SSG.com’s representative delivery service that allows customers to receive fresh food and other shopping items on the same day if ordered by 1 to 2 PM depending on the region. Customers can also specify a desired delivery date up to three days after the order date. It is available in most regions nationwide, making it highly accessible.
SSG.com will also rename the dawn delivery service to 'SSG Dawn Delivery.' However, on mobile devices, it will continue to be displayed as 'Dawn Delivery' as before. SSG Dawn Delivery is a service where orders placed by 10 to 12 PM can be delivered by 6 to 7 AM the next morning, depending on the address. It is available in the Seoul metropolitan area, Chungcheong region, Busan area, and Daegu area, with plans to expand coverage mainly in metropolitan cities.
The Traders Wholesale Club (Traders) delivery service will be unified under the name 'SSG Traders Delivery.' Same-day weekly 'Traders SSG Delivery' available near stores, 'Traders Same-Day Delivery' introduced in most areas of the Seoul metropolitan area through logistics collaboration with CJ Logistics, and 'Traders Parcel Delivery' which was previously sent by courier to other regions will all be integrated into one brand. As the same-day delivery service area expands, the names will no longer be separated, and only the expected arrival time will be distinguished and displayed on the order screen.
An SSG.com representative said, "While maintaining the unique delivery brand of SSG Delivery, the core of this revamp is to clearly indicate the expected arrival time so that customers can intuitively choose the service they want. We plan to continuously introduce promotions and differentiated products linked to each delivery service to enhance customer convenience and benefits."
