Spring in Hapcheon, Gyeongnam welcomes travelers with vibrant landscapes painted by blooming flowers. In 2025, cherry blossoms, canola flowers, royal azaleas, and peonies will bloom one after another throughout Hapcheon, creating a picturesque spring scene.
The Baekri Cherry Blossom Road along Hapcheonho Lake, covered in cherry blossoms, the pink royal azalea fields of Hwangmaesan Mountain, and the elegant peonies of Hatteul Ecological Park?these famous spring flower spots in Hapcheon offer unforgettable moments to visitors.
From late March to early April, the Baekri Cherry Blossom Road stretches for 40 km along Hapcheonho Lake, forming a tunnel of cherry blossoms. Just walking here makes you feel like the main character in a fairy tale.
The county plans to host a cherry blossom marathon during the peak bloom, offering a unique memory of running under a shower of petals. Running beneath the cherry blossoms, surrounded by fluttering petals, will be a moment when your emotions bloom as well.
Hwangmaesan Mountain is considered one of the top three royal azalea mountains in Korea, along with Sobaeksan and Baraebong. During the Hwangmaesan Royal Azalea Festival, held from late April to mid-May, the mountain slopes are covered in a spectacular sea of azaleas. In early May, when the flowers are in full bloom, visitors can enjoy various activities such as treasure hunts and docent tours against the backdrop of pink-colored ridges, making spring even more delightful.
