Hapcheon Spring Flower Spots Offer Unforgettable Moments for Travelers! A hundred-ri cherry blossom road filled with light pink hues.

From late March to early April, the Baekri Cherry Blossom Road stretches for 40 km along Hapcheonho Lake, forming a tunnel of cherry blossoms. Just walking here makes you feel like the main character in a fairy tale.

The county plans to host a cherry blossom marathon during the peak bloom, offering a unique memory of running under a shower of petals. Running beneath the cherry blossoms, surrounded by fluttering petals, will be a moment when your emotions bloom as well.

Hwangmaesan Mountain is considered one of the top three royal azalea mountains in Korea, along with Sobaeksan and Baraebong. During the Hwangmaesan Royal Azalea Festival, held from late April to mid-May, the mountain slopes are covered in a spectacular sea of azaleas. In early May, when the flowers are in full bloom, visitors can enjoy various activities such as treasure hunts and docent tours against the backdrop of pink-colored ridges, making spring even more delightful.

By mid-May, peonies with large petals bloom at Hatteul Ecological Park and the Hapcheon Peony Cultivation Complex. The peony fields, mingling with the morning mist along the Hwanggang River, create an exotic atmosphere and have become a popular spot for photographers.

During the 2025 blooming season, the county plans to expand convenience facilities and provide a more diverse experience for spring visitors through local specialty product sales, food trucks, and the Pink Market.

Meanwhile, at Hatteul Ecological Park, canola flowers begin to bloom in March, marking the start of spring. If you can't wait until the peonies are in full bloom in May, it's a great idea to visit early and enjoy the beautiful yellow canola flowers along the Hwanggang River.
