Centum General Hospital Launches Remote Medical Consultation Service

Centum General Hospital is launching a non-face-to-face (video call) medical consultation service to enhance patient convenience and improve access to healthcare.

This service has been introduced in response to the decision to issue a public health crisis alert, aiming to provide patients with a more efficient medical environment. It will be available for follow-up outpatients in the Rheumatology and Urology departments.

In the case of the Rheumatology department, not only follow-up patients but also new or first-time patients with non-traumatic joint pain are eligible for consultations. In the Urology department, only follow-up patients, excluding new or first-time patients, can use the service. Centum General Hospital plans to gradually expand the scope of this service in the future.

For non-face-to-face consultations, patients can receive medical advice and prescriptions via video call after making a reservation in advance. Patients can book an appointment through the hospital's main phone number and receive their consultation at the scheduled time. After the consultation, payment can be conveniently made via mobile through a link sent by text message, and prescriptions will be faxed to the pharmacy of the patient's choice.

Centum General Hospital stated, "With the implementation of this non-face-to-face consultation service, we expect patients will be able to access safe and convenient medical services without having to visit the hospital in person," adding, "We will continue to expand patient-centered medical services in the future."
