Gwangju Dongbu Fire Station announced on the 17th that it conducted fire safety training for employees of the National Asia Culture Center.
This training was organized to help ensure a swift and accurate response in the event of a fire. It focused on practical safety rules that can be applied in the employees' work environment to prepare for fire emergencies. The main topics included: ▲ Proper procedures for reporting to 119 ▲ How to use fire extinguishers and fire hydrants. The training emphasized how to remain calm and respond appropriately in emergency situations.
In particular, the importance of initial response to fires was highlighted, with guidance provided on how employees can use fire safety equipment and precautions to protect themselves in their respective locations. The session also helped participants understand the fire safety facilities and evacuation routes within the building, and explained the importance of quick reporting and response in case of fire.
Moon Heejun, chief of Dongbu Fire Station, stated, "I hope this training will help employees respond calmly without panic in the event of a fire," and added, "We will continue to provide practical fire safety education for citizens and organizations that can be applied in real-life situations."
