Osan Mayor Lee Gwon-jae to Host 'Communication Hanmadang' Until the 26th

Touring Eight Neighborhoods... Sharing City Administration Plans with Residents
"We Will Shape Osan's Future Together with Citizens"

Osan City in Gyeonggi Province will hold the '2025 Baeknyeon Donghaeng Communication Festival' from the 19th to the 26th, presided over by Mayor Lee Gwon-jae.

This event involves Mayor Lee visiting eight administrative neighborhoods within the city to share the direction and vision of city administration with residents. Suggestions raised by citizens on-site will be immediately reviewed by relevant departments to devise solutions.

The event will be held in the following order: ▲ on the 19th at Sinjang 2-dong (Osan Nonghyup Conference Room), Daewon 2-dong (Osan With Star Plaza) ▲ on the 21st at Jungang-dong (Osan Culture and Arts Center), Namchon-dong (Osan University Comprehensive Information Center) ▲ on the 24th at Chopyeong-dong (Chopyeong Administrative Welfare Center), Daewon 1-dong (Osan Southern Comprehensive Social Welfare Center) ▲ on the 26th at Sinjang 1-dong (Jukmi Sports Park Multipurpose Gymnasium), Sema-dong (Jukmi Sports Park Multipurpose Gymnasium).

Through meetings with residents, Mayor Lee plans to share major ongoing city administration issues such as ▲ development of the Segyo 3 public housing district ▲ extension of the Seoul Metropolitan Area Express Railway (GTX) Line C to Osan ▲ early completion of the underground Dongbu-daero project.

He will also explain key projects for the city's economic development. At this event, detailed plans will be revealed regarding the establishment of Osan Urban Corporation, the Woonamdeul AI City urban development project, utilization of the Segyo 1 district terminal site and development of the reserve forces training ground, development of the former Gyesung Paper Mill site, and creation of a future advanced industrial complex.

Mayor Lee said, "Osan is promoting the expansion of transportation networks and living infrastructure to take a step forward," adding, "Through the Communication Festival, we will actively reflect citizens' opinions and create tangible changes."
