On the 17th, Seongsan-gu in Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, held a food poisoning prevention campaign for the general public at Sangnam Fountain Square in preparation for the spring outing season.
This campaign was conducted together with the Seongsan-gu Tourism Promotion Team to prevent food safety accidents that may occur due to food consumption, as concerns about food poisoning increase with rising daytime temperatures and more outings in the spring.
The main content of the campaign included: ▲ Six major rules for preventing food poisoning ▲ Spring food poisoning precautions (such as not leaving food out for long periods during outdoor activities) ▲ Proper handwashing methods and other personal hygiene guidelines, all aimed at preventing food poisoning and managing food hygiene.
Kim Sooyoon, head of the Culture and Sanitation Division, stated, "In spring, when the temperature difference between day and night is large, we must pay particular attention to food poisoning. Through this campaign, we will do our best to prevent food safety accidents so that tourists visiting Seongsan-gu during the cherry blossom season, such as the Naval Port Festival, can enjoy a safe and pleasant outing."
