Since August 2020, BPA has been operating the North Port Redevelopment Promotion Center on the 5th floor of the Busan Port International Passenger Terminal to enhance public understanding and awareness of the 'Busan Port North Port Redevelopment Project,' the nation's first and largest port redevelopment project.

In this renovation, BPA focused on helping visitors more clearly understand the necessity of the North Port Redevelopment Project and build consensus, restructuring the background and objectives of the project in a storytelling format while visualizing key information.

Additionally, to commemorate the renewal of the promotion center, BPA will host an event for visitors. Starting March 17, commemorative gifts will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis to those who visit the center and complete a satisfaction survey.

Jung Pyeonggyo, Director of the Regeneration Planning Office at BPA, said, "Through the improvement of the promotion center's content, we expect that visitors will be able to more easily understand the necessity, process, and future direction of the North Port Redevelopment Project," adding, "We will continue to improve the promotion center to effectively inform the public and citizens about the project."

The Busan Port North Port Redevelopment Project is a large-scale national project aimed at transforming the old North Port, whose port functions have declined, into an international marine tourism hub by creating international gateway functions and waterfront spaces, helping Busan become a world-class marine tourism city and a new growth axis for the regional economy. Busan Port Authority is actively promoting and attracting investment to ensure the successful completion of the ongoing first phase of the project.
