This year's counseling support will be divided into group counseling programs, individual and family counseling, and psychological and emotional recovery programs. The group counseling program, under the theme "Self-Healing Care Solutions for My Emotions," will be held eight times in total (four sessions each in April and September). Thirty parents will be selected by the commissioned institution, and each session will last three hours. Applications for the first round will be accepted from the 18th to the 27th through the Gwangju Office of Education Parent Support Center website.

Starting in June, individual and family counseling in partnership with professional counseling agencies will also be provided. For individual counseling, up to 100,000 KRW per session will be supported, and for family counseling, up to 120,000 KRW per session, with a maximum of five sessions available for each. Counseling will take place at institutions designated for special education (psychological therapy) by the city office of education, and participants will be selected through an application process on the website in May, followed by a review by the selection committee.

A new psychological and emotional recovery support program has also been established. In collaboration with local performance and cultural arts experience institutions, parents will be supported in caring for their minds through cultural and artistic activities.
