Gwangju Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Park Cheolhong, hereinafter referred to as Gwangju Saranguiyeolmae) announced on the 17th that it has signed an agreement for community sharing activities with the Hayan Nabi Youth Volunteer Group.
The signing ceremony, held on the afternoon of the 14th at the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea, was attended by Kim Geunwoo, CEO of Hayan Nabi, Kim Jaehun, Secretary-General, Kim Yunha, Head of Fundraising Business Team at Gwangju Community Chest of Korea, and other related officials. Gwangju Saranguiyeolmae and the Hayan Nabi Youth Volunteer Group agreed to work together through mutual cooperation to promote social welfare for the underprivileged in Gwangju and to activate citizen participation in sharing.
Through this agreement, the Hayan Nabi Youth Volunteer Group plans to organize charity fundraising events and sharing festivals to raise donations. The funds raised will be used to support projects such as free meal services and improvement of residential spaces for the underprivileged.
Kim Geunwoo, CEO, said, "I want to create a society where young people participate in sharing and contribute to the community by showing how society changes through donations, empathizing, and sharing hearts before material things through solidarity."
