Doosan Construction Sponsors Shin Ji-ae, Achieving 65 Career Wins

Doosan Construction is sponsoring Shin Ji-ae, the "Living Legend of Korean Golf."

On the 17th, it announced that it had signed a sub-sponsorship contract with Shin Ji-ae. Shin Ji-ae, who is playing on the Japan Ladies Professional Golf Association (JLPGA) Tour, will receive support from a domestic company for the first time in 11 years. She will compete this season with the Doosan Construction logo on her chest. Shin Ji-ae said, "I am happy and grateful to continue my relationship with Doosan Construction through sponsorship. Since I will be playing this season with a Korean company’s logo after a long time, I will show my best performance."

Shin Ji-ae is a symbol of consistency. She has accumulated a total of 65 wins across Korea, the United States, Japan, and Europe. This is the record for the most wins among all Korean male and female professionals. Recently, she finished as runner-up in the opening event of the JLPGA Tour, rising to first place in total prize money. Her current world ranking is 23rd.

Doosan Construction established a golf team in 2023 and has contributed to the development of Korean golf by creating the Doosan Construction We’ve Championship on the Korean Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour. It renewed contracts with all players on the golf team last year, including Yoo Hyun-joo, Yoo Hyo-joo, Park Gyeol, Kim Min-sol, and Lim Hee-jung. This year, following Lee Yul-rin and Park Hye-jun, it has added Shin Ji-ae as a sponsored player.
