Ilwoo Foundation Under Hanjin Group Accepting Applications Until the 24th
One Final Recipient to Receive 60 Million KRW in Support
Ilwoo Foundation, a public interest foundation under Hanjin Group, is accepting applications for the 'Ilwoo (一宇) Art Award' until the 24th.
The Ilwoo Art Award selects works created using photography without restrictions on genre or medium. For the 15th Ilwoo Art Award this year, one recipient will be chosen and provided with 60 million KRW in activity funds.
To apply for the Ilwoo Art Award, applicants must fill out the application form posted on the Ilwoo Art Award website and submit it to the Ilwoo Foundation web hard drive.
On the 31st, four candidates will be initially selected through the first round of screening, followed by in-depth interviews with a panel of domestic and international expert judges to select the final winner.
From 2009 to 2022, the Ilwoo Foundation held the Ilwoo Photography Award competition 13 times, discovering and supporting 36 photographers. Since last year, the award was restructured into the Ilwoo Art Award to embrace and support a broader range of artists.
