Fire at Annex Building of Suncheon Songgwangsa Temple... Extinguishing in Progress

At around 1 p.m. on the 16th, a fire broke out in an annex building of Cheonjaam at Songgwangsa Temple in Suncheon, Jeollanam-do. The fire department deployed 10 vehicles and over 30 personnel to extinguish the fire.

The fire only burned the annex building and did not spread to adjacent structures, and there were no reported casualties.

The fire authorities plan to investigate the exact cause of the fire once the extinguishing efforts are completed.
