Gwangju Transportation Corporation Ranks First Overall in Management and Service Evaluation by Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Gwangju Transportation Corporation building.

Gwangju Transportation Corporation achieved the highest performance by ranking first overall among all railway and urban rail operators in the country in the "2024 Public Transportation Operator Management and Service Evaluation" organized by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.


According to Gwangju Transportation Corporation on the 16th, it scored 92.78 points in the biennial management and service evaluation conducted for 16 railway and urban rail operators nationwide, significantly surpassing the average score of 87.43 points among similar organizations.


The corporation has been providing customer-oriented, customized services, such as introducing real-time bus operation information via QR codes on comprehensive information maps at all stations to enhance passenger convenience and accessibility to public transportation. Additionally, it has made efforts to improve service quality by installing guidance lines for facilities for transportation-vulnerable groups within stations. Recently, the corporation also replaced pole signs at all station entrances with stylish designs, receiving positive feedback from passengers.


In particular, the corporation is establishing itself as a trusted public transportation operator by improving customer convenience facilities, such as nursing rooms within stations, to create a pleasant urban rail environment, and by building a proactive safety management system that has achieved zero train delays and accidents.
