According to Koryoin Village on the 16th, the Community Tourism Office was established last year to welcome visitors, with village guides made up of Wolgok 2-dong residents who have long welcomed Koryoin immigrants to Gwangju. These guides have introduced the history and culture of the village to visitors and have helped promote communication between the Koryoin community and the local society.

The newly opening Community Tourism Office plans to expand its programs to promote the village's history and community spirit in a larger space. It will also strengthen cultural exchanges among Koryoin residents and foster more connections with the local area.

In preparation for the opening, the guides have been painting the exterior walls, installing information signs, and organizing equipment. Murals and decorations reflecting Koryoin traditional culture are also being newly arranged.

Jung Jinsan, head of the Koryoin Village Community Tourism Office, said, "With this opening, I believe Koryoin Village can take another step forward," and added, "I hope this will become a space open to both residents and tourists."
