Son Kyungmin, Chief Director of Lino Plastic Surgery, Joins Gwangju Honor Society as Member No. 186

The Gwangju Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Park Cheolhong) announced on the 14th that Son Kyungmin, Chief Director of Lino Plastic Surgery Clinic, has joined the Honor Society Gwangju as its 186th member, a group for individual high-value donors.

The induction ceremony was held on the 12th at the Donor Hall of Fame on the first floor of Seo-gu District Office, with Park Cheolhong, Chairman of Gwangju Community Chest of Korea, Son Kyungmin, Chief Director, and Kim Ikang, Mayor of Seo-gu, in attendance. On this day, Son Kyungmin pledged to donate a total of 120 million KRW over five years, contributing 2 million KRW per month to support scholarship programs and children in Seo-gu who are in need of care.

Son Kyungmin received his bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees from Chosun University College of Medicine and became a board-certified plastic surgeon in 2012. After serving as a professor at Chosun University Hospital for over ten years, he opened Lino Plastic Surgery Clinic in Sangmu District, Seo-gu, Gwangju in 2021.

Lino Plastic Surgery Clinic, led by Chief Director Son Kyungmin, provides specialized medical services such as detailed customized plastic surgery care from consultation to surgery and post-operative management, the Lino Safety System, a surgery responsibility guarantee system, and personalized skin care solutions.

Son Kyungmin said, "During my time as a professor specializing in reconstructive plastic surgery, I always wanted to help neighbors in need and those facing difficulties," and added, "After opening my clinic and living a hectic life, now that about four years have passed, I feel it is time to look around and practice sharing."

Park Cheolhong, Chairman of Gwangju Community Chest of Korea, stated, "I have often heard warm stories about Dr. Son prioritizing and personally performing emergency sutures for children in need, even amidst his busy schedule," and added, "I am grateful that he has extended this warm-heartedness to sharing with the local community."
