Gyeonggi Yangju City (Mayor Kang Su-hyun) announced on the 15th that it held the ‘Baeksulgi-DAY’ event hosted by ‘NH Nonghyup Bank Yangju Branch (Branch Manager Noh Hyun-soo)’ on the 14th.

The event, organized to promote the value and consumption of ‘Yangjugol Rice,’ an excellent agricultural product of the Yangju region, was attended by about 10 officials including Mayor Kang Su-hyun, City Council Chairman Yoon Chang-chul, and Branch Manager Noh Hyun-soo.
On the day, the officials personally handed out carefully made Baeksulgi rice cakes to citizens and employees visiting City Hall, explaining the importance of consuming local agricultural products and encouraging interest.
Mayor Kang Su-hyun of Yangju City said, “‘Yangjugol Rice’ is an excellent agricultural product that our city proudly produces, and the interest and consumption of citizens enrich local agriculture even more,” adding, “We will continue to prepare various support measures to promote local rice consumption and implement policies in cooperation with farmers.”
