Ulsan, Gumi, and Chuncheon Also Witness Rallies Competing for Public Support
On the 15th, nationwide rallies for and against the impeachment of President Yoon Seok-yeol will be held ahead of the Constitutional Court's ruling on the impeachment trial.

The conservative Christian group Save Korea will hold the 8th National Prayer Meeting against impeachment from 1 PM to 3 PM at Busan Station Plaza. Participants are expected to wave the Taegeukgi and the U.S. flag while chanting slogans such as "Martial Law Legal" and "Impeachment Invalid." On the other hand, from 4 PM to 7 PM, a pro-impeachment rally hosted by the Busan Emergency Action for Regime Resignation will take place around Seomyeon Dongcheon-ro in Busanjin-gu.
In Gwangju, about 180 civic groups gathered under the name "Yoon Seok-yeol Immediate Impeachment and Social Reform Gwangju Emergency Action" (Gwangju Emergency Action) will hold the 18th Gwangju Citizens' General Rally at the 5.18 Democracy Square in the afternoon. Participants will condemn the cancellation of President Yoon's prosecution detention and urge the Constitutional Court to immediately dismiss him.
The Gwangju Emergency Action also recruited citizens to attend the impeachment urging rally held in Seoul.

In front of Gumi Station in Gumi-si, Gyeongbuk, Save Korea will hold a National Emergency Prayer Meeting against impeachment at 1 PM. The number of participants reported to the police is 10,000. Speakers on the podium are expected to include Na Kyung-won, a member of the People Power Party, Jeon Han-gil, a Korean history instructor, and Lee Rae-jin, a bereaved family member of a public official killed by North Korean forces in the West Sea in 2020.
At 5 PM, a pro-impeachment rally hosted by the Daegu Emergency Council for Yoon Seok-yeol's Resignation will be held at Dongseong-ro in Jung-gu, Daegu. The expected number of participants is 700.
Additionally, rallies for and against impeachment will be held at various locations including Taehwagang Station Plaza and Lotte Department Store Plaza in Nam-gu, Ulsan; in front of Chungbuk Provincial Office; at Daejeon Station and Naseong-dong in Sejong City; and Nakwon Cultural Park in Chuncheon-si, Gangwon, hosted by religious and civic groups.
