Through this agreement, the two organizations pledged to continuously cooperate on ▲ the distribution and promotion of gugak content ▲ and efforts to improve the quality of cultural enjoyment for citizens.
The National Gugak Center in Busan plans to broadcast video content such as 'Beautiful Korea,' which allows viewers to fully experience gugak, as well as the gugak lifestyle exercise program 'Jeongjungdong' and selected performance content from the center, through On Group's broadcasting channels.
The gugak lifestyle exercise program 'Jeongjungdong' is a lifestyle content series featuring movements inspired by traditional dance and gugak melodies. It is especially designed for seniors in their 50s and 60s, with movements that can help with fatigue recovery. The music is arranged in the order of 'slow - slightly faster - fast' tempo, allowing participants to appreciate the beauty of traditional Korean music and dance.
Lee Jungyeop, Director of the National Gugak Center in Busan, stated, "I believe that this collaboration with On Group will accelerate the distribution of gugak content," adding, "We will continue our efforts to foster happiness and a healthy leisure culture for citizens."
