Final Offensive Ahead of President Yoon's Impeachment Ruling
On Election Commission Hiring Scandal: "Special Prosecutor and State Audit Needed"
On the 14th, Yoon Sang-hyun, a member of the People Power Party, urged Lee Jae-myung, the leader of the Democratic Party, to resign, saying, "Out of the 29 impeachment motions led by the Democratic Party, the Constitutional Court has dismissed 8. If you lose 8 consecutive games in Gyeonggi, naturally the manager and coaching staff must resign."
Yoon said this during a meeting with reporters at the National Assembly Communication Office on the same day, adding, "The current Democratic Party is a shameless 'Democratic villain,' unlike the Democratic Party envisioned by former President Kim Dae-jung."
Recently, Yoon has been at the forefront of the People Power Party, urging the dismissal and rejection of President Yoon's impeachment, putting pressure on the Constitutional Court and the Democratic Party. On the 11th, Yoon, who was the first to participate in the 'Relay Protest in front of the Constitutional Court,' held the 'Walking the Path of Presidential Impeachment Dismissal' event with instructor Jeon Han-gil on this day as well.
Before the event, he held a press conference in front of the Constitutional Court, stating, "Procedural flaws do not guarantee the fairness of the outcome," and insisted, "Dismissal of the impeachment is the only answer."

Regarding the controversy over recruitment irregularities at the National Election Commission, Yoon demanded that the National Assembly appoint a special prosecutor and conduct a state audit. He emphasized, "The Election Commission had 291 cases of irregular hiring and 878 violations of personnel regulations when recruiting experienced staff," adding, "A special prosecutor and a state audit are naturally necessary."
He continued, "The Election Commission is called a 'job of trust,' but there is no place where a modern-day hereditary system is so rampant," adding, "Using 'dad's chances' and having sons, daughters, and relatives gathered in the Election Commission inevitably leads to negligence in internal supervision and corruption."
Regarding the Constitutional Court's ruling that the Board of Audit and Inspection's inspection of the Election Commission's duties is unconstitutional, he criticized, "It makes no sense that inspections cannot be conducted despite frequent corruption," and said, "I cannot understand the Constitutional Court's decision."
