Shinhan Venture Investment Withdraws Shareholder Proposal to Dreamus Company

"Confirmation of Commitment to Enhancing Shareholder Value"

Shinhan Venture Investment announced on the 14th that it has officially withdrawn its shareholder proposal regarding Dreamus Company, a KOSDAQ-listed company.


The shareholder proposal included demands such as replacing Dreamus Company's management, conducting a public tender offer for treasury shares, and changing the company name. Shinhan Venture Investment is the second-largest shareholder of Dreamus Company, holding 22.80% of voting rights through the special purpose company (SPC) Neospes.


Shinhan Venture Investment stated, "Since submitting the shareholder proposal in January, we have been discussing Dreamus Company's management, growth strategies, and ways to enhance shareholder value," and added, "As the management expressed their intention to actively pursue new growth engines and strengthen business competitiveness, we decided to withdraw the shareholder proposal." Accordingly, the shareholder proposal will not be included in the agenda of this month's regular shareholders' meeting.


A Shinhan Venture Investment official said, "We have also agreed to amicably discuss other shareholder return policy proposals," and added, "We will continue to communicate with Dreamus Company as shareholders and work together to enhance corporate value."
