Intensive Inspection of Abnormal Transactions and Related Violations
Yeonggwang County in Jeollanam-do announced on the 14th that, with the activation of Yeonggwang Sarang Gift Certificate distribution following the payment of the first round of livelihood economic recovery support funds, a comprehensive crackdown will be conducted on users and affiliated merchants to eradicate illegal distribution.
This crackdown will be carried out by analyzing data based on abnormal transaction detection through the Yeonggwang Sarang Gift Certificate management system and reports of suspected illegal distribution, followed by on-site inspections.
The main types of violations targeted include: ▲ Receiving gift certificates without selling goods or providing services ▲ Receiving gift certificates through transactions exceeding actual sales amounts ▲ Operating a business in a restricted industry ▲ Refusing payment with Yeonggwang Sarang Gift Certificates ▲ Treating gift certificates less favorably than cash, among others.
The crackdown will focus on the most frequently occurring types of violations.
A county official stated, "If illegal distribution is detected, we will actively impose administrative and financial measures such as fines, recovery of unjust gains, and cancellation of merchant registration, so that residents can use the Yeonggwang Sarang Gift Certificates with peace of mind."
