Expectations High for Strengthening Brand Competitiveness
Goryeong County in North Gyeongsang Province held a kick-off briefing for the 'Goryeong County Agricultural Products Joint Brand Development Project' on the 13th at the county office's Ureuk Room, together with representatives from related organizations and farmers, officially launching the brand development process.

Approximately 21 stakeholders, including County Governor Lee Namcheol, heads of local agricultural cooperatives, representatives of agricultural corporations, crop group leaders, and relevant officials, attended the meeting to discuss the direction for developing a joint brand to enhance the competitiveness of Goryeong County's agricultural products.
During the briefing, the current status of the 'Haessal Green' brand in use was reviewed, and a direction was proposed for developing a more competitive joint agricultural brand.
Participants agreed on the importance of strengthening the brand identity so that Goryeong County's agricultural products can earn consumer trust, and shared the opinion that producers and related organizations should actively participate in the brand development process.
It was also suggested that the entities responsible for using, participating in, and managing the joint brand should be clearly defined to ensure the brand's sustainable use.
Governor Lee Namcheol stated, "We will establish a systematic brand strategy to widely promote the excellence of Goryeong County's agricultural products and contribute to increasing farmers' income," adding, "Through this project, we will build a differentiated joint brand that will grow into a trusted brand among consumers."
Goryeong County plans to continuously incorporate the opinions of farmers and related organizations to develop a joint brand for its agricultural products that consumers can trust.
