In addition, a total of 3 billion KRW will be invested in voucher support projects for people with disabilities, such as activity support, developmental rehabilitation services, and daytime activity services for people with developmental disabilities. In particular, 2.8 billion KRW has been allocated to the activity support service project, which has been implemented since 2011, to raise the service fee for support workers and improve the quality of services, thereby actively supporting the independence of people with disabilities.

To expand social participation and economic independence for people with disabilities, 650 million KRW will be invested in job creation projects at a total of 18 locations, including public institutions and social welfare facilities, an increase of 110 million KRW compared to last year. Additionally, to ease the financial burden, benefits such as medical expenses, dialysis costs for people with kidney disabilities, issuance fees for disability registration certificates, and support for assistive devices will be provided to low-income people with disabilities.

In particular, the age criterion for children eligible for developmental rehabilitation services has been raised from under 6 years old to under 9 years old, allowing more children to benefit, and service providers will offer higher-quality services through free competition.

County Governor Shin Woochul stated, "We will strive to create an environment where people with disabilities can become independent members of society and will continue to promote demand-oriented customized welfare services so that people with disabilities and their families can enjoy a comfortable and happy daily life."
