According to Koryoin Village on the 14th, Gwangsan-gu will invest 500 million won in special grants to establish a cyber exhibition hall for Koryoin historical artifacts. To this end, service providers will be recruited until the 2nd of next month, and the selected company will conduct a full survey of the artifacts, cataloging, and the construction of a digital archive by August.
Currently, some artifacts are displayed at the Koryoin Cultural Center Gyeol, but due to limited space, many are kept privately and face preservation challenges. In response, Gwangsan-gu plans to introduce an online exhibition method so that anyone can easily access the artifacts.
The digitized materials will be provided in the form of an online museum, and some books will be translated into English and Russian. Special exhibitions will also be organized to showcase the history and culture of Koryoin in a more diverse way.
A representative of Koryoin Village said, "The digital exhibition will be an opportunity to widely promote Koryoin history both domestically and internationally."
