41% Support Administration Continuation vs 51% Favor Government Change
Despite the cancellation of President Yoon Seok-yeol's arrest and the dismissal of impeachment motions against the Board of Audit and Inspectors chairman and prosecutors, public opinion did not show significant fluctuations. Six out of ten respondents in the survey maintained the stance that President Yoon's impeachment should be upheld.

According to a public opinion poll released on the 14th by Gallup Korea (conducted from the 11th to 13th nationwide targeting 1,001 people aged 18 and over via mobile phone interviews, with a response rate of 13.4% and a margin of error of ±3.1 percentage points at a 95% confidence level), 58% of respondents supported the impeachment of President Yoon related to the declaration of martial law. This represents a 2 percentage point decrease compared to last week's survey. Opposition to President Yoon's impeachment rose by 2 percentage points to 37%. Among conservatives, 72% opposed impeachment, while 93% of progressives supported it, and 69% of moderates were in favor of impeachment.
Regarding the next presidential election, 41% supported the continuation of the current administration, while 51% favored a change in government. Support for continuation rose by 4 percentage points from last week, whereas support for change decreased by 1 percentage point.
In the open-ended question about the next presidential candidate, Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, ranked first with 34%. Kim Moon-soo, Minister of Employment and Labor, received 10%, Han Dong-hoon, former leader of the People Power Party, 6%, Oh Se-hoon, Mayor of Seoul, 4%, and Hong Joon-pyo, Mayor of Daegu, 3%.
In party support, the People Power Party recorded 40% and the Democratic Party 36%, the same as last week.
