Yoon Sang-hyun, a member of the People Power Party, criticized the Democratic Party of Korea, saying "8 consecutive defeats in impeachment trials," and called for the dismissal of Democratic Party leader Lee Jae-myung and the party leadership.

On the 14th, Yoon posted on his Facebook, "Yesterday, the impeachment petitions against Choi Jae-hae, head of the Board of Audit and Inspection, Lee Chang-soo, chief prosecutor of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office, and two other prosecutors were dismissed. So far, the results show the Democratic Party has lost 8 times in a row," adding, "In the sports world, the coach and coaching staff would be dismissed or at least apologize at this point, but the Democratic Party leadership shows no remorse or shame at all."

Regarding the Democratic Party's push to impeach Prosecutor General Shim Woo-jung, he criticized, "They are venting their frustration and acting spitefully." He said, "The Democratic Party cannot utter a word against the judge of the Central District Court who decided to cancel President Yoon Seok-youl's detention," and added, "Yet, they embarrassingly threaten and plead for the prosecution to immediately appeal the cancellation of President Yoon's detention."

Yoon said, "The Democratic Party must be feeling uneasy now," explaining, "The Constitutional Court's ruling has revealed to the public that the 29 consecutive impeachment attempts they made were actually a malicious scheme to paralyze the government, and people are increasingly recognizing this."

He claimed, "Various pieces of evidence are emerging that the impeachment trial against President Yoon was a 'fraudulent impeachment' led by the Democratic Party as part of a 'rebellion accusation,'" and argued, "The reason President Yoon declared the emergency martial law on December 3 was to inform the public of the Democratic Party's reckless actions and to stop them, which is gaining more and more credibility."

Yoon emphasized, "The Democratic Party should stop chasing the futile hope of an early presidential election, sincerely apologize for the 'consecutive impeachments and dismissals,' and dismiss leader Lee Jae-myung and the party leadership," adding, "I hope they show the public a responsible image as the main opposition party."
