Bearing Asset Management's Global High Yield Fund Series Surpasses 100 Billion KRW in Assets Under Management

Bearing Asset Management's 'Global High Yield Fund' series has surpassed 100 billion KRW in assets under management. This is the result of more than 60 billion KRW flowing in over the past three months, supported by a diverse product lineup suitable for the aging trend and long-term investment.

On the 14th, Bearing Asset Management announced that the assets under management for the Bearing Monthly Payout Global High Yield Fund[H] and the Bearing Global High Yield Fund have exceeded 100 billion KRW.

The Bearing Monthly Payout Global High Yield Fund has the same investment strategy as the 'Bearing Global High Yield Fund,' which primarily invests in high-yield bonds in the U.S. and developed European regions. Monthly distributions are paid based on the investment amount (number of units held). The fund conducts currency hedging to manage risks arising from fluctuations in the KRW-USD exchange rate.

The fund's annualized dividend yield is approximately 7%, and its investment risk level is rated 5 (low risk) out of 6 levels, one step higher than 'very low risk' (level 6). Considering that the fund's main investment assets are high-yield bonds with relatively low credit ratings, the fund's risk is effectively managed in volatile market conditions.

The Bearing Global High Yield Fund lineup includes ▲H type (currency-hedged) ▲UH type (currency-exposed) ▲USD type (dollar-denominated), allowing various choices according to investor preferences.

Bearing Asset Management analyzes that investor interest in monthly payout funds is increasing as the baby boomer generation's retirement accelerates. The monthly distribution option is becoming an essential choice for investors who require regular income.

The outlook for the global high-yield bond market is currently positive. Above all, from a supply-demand perspective, demand for high-yield bonds consistently exceeds supply, firmly supporting bond prices. From a fundamental perspective, high-yield companies in the U.S. and developed Europe have solid fundamentals.

Bearing Asset Management is currently preparing to launch an additional 'Monthly Payout Global High Yield Fund[USD],' designed to invest in dollars and pay monthly distributions in dollars.

Andonggil, Head of Investment Solutions at Bearing Asset Management, said, "The aging population structure and market uncertainties are influencing product structures and management strategies. Securing steady cash flow along with risk management through diversification will become increasingly important." He added, "We will continue to strengthen our product lineup to meet changing investor needs and provide optimal investment solutions to investors."
