Jeonnam Province to Host Oceansio Camping Tourism Expo in Haenam This October

Jeollanam-do announced on the 14th that, as a result of the selection process for the host site of the '2025 Jeonnam Camping Tourism Expo,' the Haenam Oceano Tourism Complex has been chosen.

The Haenam Oceano Tourism Complex is equipped with excellent camping infrastructure. In particular, Haenam-gun's strong commitment to actively promote unique themed camping and a variety of experience programs stood out, earning high scores from the evaluation committee.

Jeollanam-do and Haenam-gun will operate special exhibition halls by theme, such as a Camping Food Hall, Local Food Hall, Pet Hall, and International Hall, to ensure the Camping Tourism Expo attracts visitors from across the country. In addition, a range of programs will be offered, including DIY camping gear, barbecue experiences, meal kit experiences, agricultural activities, and global camping culture experiences.

To ensure the whole family can enjoy the event, children's play facilities such as sky swings will be expanded. At the same time, eco-friendly space arrangements and zero-waste campaigns will be implemented to establish a sustainable camping culture. Efforts will also be made to expand foreign camper familiarization tours, paving the way for the event to grow into an international camping expo in the future.
