World Vision, an international relief and development NGO (Chairman Jo Myung-hwan), announced on the 14th that the Orion Foundation has donated 100 million KRW for the ‘2025 Hope Found in the Classroom Season 2’ campaign.

The donation will be used as prizes for the classes participating in this year’s campaign. Additionally, at the final awards ceremony recognizing students who actively worked to prevent school violence throughout the year, the Orion Foundation Chairman’s Award and prizes will be presented together.

The ‘Hope Found in the Classroom’ campaign began in 2012 with the goal of preventing school violence, and since 2023, it has been providing school violence prevention education and practical programs tailored to the school age groups of elementary and middle schools nationwide. This year’s campaign is conducted under the theme ‘Our Pinkmi Action to Enhance Practicality,’ and applications are being accepted through the ‘World Vision Global Citizenship School’ website. The Orion Foundation previously sponsored Season 1 of the World Vision ‘Hope Found in the Classroom’ campaign from 2015 to 2020.

Kim Bu-gon, Secretary General of the Orion Foundation, said, “We are pleased to participate in this meaningful campaign where students prevent school violence and create a safe digital environment,” adding, “We will cheer on more students to actively participate this year.”

Jo Myung-hwan, Chairman of World Vision, stated, “Through the support of the Orion Foundation, we have gained the strength to expand this year’s campaign to schools nationwide,” and added, “We will continue to do our best in cooperation with the Orion Foundation so that students can grow up in a safe environment free from school violence.”
