Emart Offers Up to 50% Discount on Spring Health Foods Including Hanwoo Beef and Jangeo

Hanwoo, Eel, and Trout Discounts from the 14th to 16th
Hanwoo Sirloin 100g for 6,948 Won
Sea Eel 50% Off at 24,900 Won

Emart announced on the 14th that it will sell health foods such as Hanwoo sirloin, Japonica eel, and seasoned trout sashimi at up to 50% discount for three days starting from the 14th. Fruits such as oranges and mangoes can also be purchased at up to 34% lower prices.

'Hanwoo sirloin grade 1 (100g)' is sold at 6,948 won, a 40% discount when Shinsegae points are accumulated. 'Domestic chilled pork front leg, hind leg, and ribs (100g)' are offered at a shocking price of 790 won each, with up to 50% discount.


In seafood, eel and trout sashimi are discounted. The domestic Japonica species 'Whole family cleaned freshwater eel (700g)' is priced at 34,800 won, discounted by 25,000 won. 'Cleaned sea eel (700g)' and 'Domestic seasoned sea eel (500g)' are sold at 24,900 won, a 50% discount. The new product 'Seasoned trout sashimi' is priced at 16,980 won, discounted by 5,000 won.


Oranges and mangoes are available in a pick-and-mix event. Oranges (8 extra-large pieces, 10 large pieces) can be purchased for 8,800 won, and mangoes (3 extra-large pieces, 4 large pieces, 5 medium pieces) for 9,900 won.


Processed foods and daily necessities will hold a 'Brand Big Match' event for a week starting from the 14th. In over 30 categories including frozen chicken, bibim noodles, whiskey, and toilet paper, two representative products from each category will compete in discounts. When paid in full with the event card, 'Buffalo Trace (750ml)' and 'Wild Turkey 8 Years (700ml)' can be purchased for 37,900 won and 45,900 won respectively. 'Balvenie 12 Years' and 'Macallan Double Cask 12 Years (700ml)' are each priced at 94,800 won.


Jung Woojin, Emart's marketing manager, said, "Demand for health foods steadily increases with the change of seasons, so we prepared a weekend special event focusing on meat and seafood," adding, "It will be a rich event with products to stimulate spring appetite and popular product discounts by category."
